June 2011: Johnson is a good-looking prospect at the small forward position. Johnson has the skills to be an impact player on both ends of the floor along the perimeter. He also has the size and strength to mix it up inside the paint with bigger players. Johnson elevates well, especially after the dribble as he enters into his jump shot. His height and hops allow him to get off shots in the mid-range against even the stingiest of defenders. Inside, he uses his broad shoulders well to create space and finish. Johnson needs to continue to improve his defensive skills in order to stick with speedier perimeter players (on defense) while also continuing to smooth out his shot release so he can become a more effective shooter from range.
