H.S. Athletic Background

As a sophomore, Kaleb Wesson helped lead Westerville South to a 27-2 record and a berth in the Division I state championship game. He averaged 11.7 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. He was a third-team All-Central District pick.

Wesson had a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds in the Division I state title game loss to Huber Heights Wayne (65-57). Wesson had 17 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots in a Division I state semifinal win over Garfield Heights (60-57).

He and his older brother Andre, also a star for Westerville South, are the sons of former Ohio State center Keith Wesson, who lettered in 1983-84 and 1986-87. Keith Wesson played his high school ball at Niles (Ohio) McKinley near Youngstown.
