Jacolb Cole

Cole brings great size, length, and effort to the wing position. The southpaw possesses a few high-level intangibles, a desire to be great, and a budding skill set that will continue to improve as his game and body mature. He is more on the stiff side when it comes to his athleticism and will be more effective when looking to penetrate once he gains more flexibility in his hips. As of now he struggles to get by opponents and can force the issue when penetrating; however, he shows great touch around the basket when looking to score inside. He has the upside to be a reliable stationary shooter from three-point range at the next level, but it would enhance his value if he were more consistent from behind the arc. One area that separates him from the rest of the wings in his area is his ball skills at his size. There is hardly any wiggle to his game but he has a nice handle on the ball when operating on the perimeter. Cole also is a decent rebounder in his area which credits his versatility and mindset to have an impact on all areas of the game. There are still ways to go as he may not be consistently ready to produce at the next level, but his best basketball is ahead of him if he can understand angles and improve athletically.
