Darrion Sutton

Sutton is a big lefty wing who is a high-level athlete with a rangy and elastic build. He's capable of making explosive plays in the open floor, has clear slashing potential with a good first-step, a solid right hand, and under-rated passing ability. The most notable limitation in his offensive game right now is his perimeter shooting. His natural touch isn't bad, but he brings the ball across his body in his release and often shoots it with sidespin. Defensively, there's clear upside because he can really move his feet and run, and also possesses the athleticism to recover even when he's initially out of position, but needs to be more disciplined about getting low in his stance. Overall, Sutton may be older for his grade, but he's still in the early stages of his overall development. He has clear tools and a high-ceiling, but is going to require patience and consistent development.
