Carlsheon Young

Young a strong lefty guard who competes on both ends of the floor. He has a nice handle on the ball and is at his best when he creates opportunities for himself by penetrating gaps and getting into the teeth of the defense. Defensively, is a terrific on-ball defender when engaged and has the potential to be relied upon to guard an opposing team's best offensive performer. Efficiency and his consistency shooting the basketball has been and will be Young's greatest challenge moving forward. He has a tendency to force offense at times which leads to him settling for tough contested shots. Additionally, he needs to make strides with his accuracy from the perimeter. Improving his ability to read the game should increase his production offensively and cause him to a reliable two-way threat in the Cowboys rotation down the road.
