H.S. Scouting Report

H.S. Athletic Background

A 2013 McDonald’s All-American, Harrison joined Kentucky with his twin brother, Aaron, as a five-star recruit. Harrison started 39 of 40 games as a freshman and was at the center of much of the fan criticism during an inconsistent regular season. Prior to the 2013 SEC Tournament, UK head coach John Calipari tweaked the Wildcat offense to have Harrison look to distribute to teammates before finding his own shot, and the point guard responded by 5.4 assists per game during Kentucky's magical postseason run after averaging 3.5 assists per game during the regular season. After considering the NBA draft after his freshman season, Harrison announced he would return to UK on April 25. As a sophomore Harrison started all 39 games for the 38-1 Final Four team. He ranked fourth on the team in scoring and led the squad in assists. He declared for the NBA draft on April 9, 2015.
