Aggressive uphill defender who attacks gaps. Flashes quick reaction speeds, reading the action around him and bursting up field. Big hitter who holds his ground. Can pressure the quarterback on blitz packages. Sound tackler that plays with a mean streak. Does well to dip his shoulder off the edge, showing decent foot speed and alertness. Tends to over pursue at times and could become more fluid, particularly in coverage and when dropping back into zone. Candidate for early playing time at the next level and an eventual multi-year starter at an elite Power Five program.
