4-7 Round Day 3Holmes is an explosive two-way player with high-level body control and strong hands. He's an instinctive player who shows a lot of range in the secondary and plays with a nice edge in his game. He would be a legitimate Power 5 prospect as a receiver and has been very productive the last three seasons but he’ll play safety at the college level. He’s an excellent open field tackler and his ball skills at receiver translate very well for him in the secondary. He has the track background that we value as well and had personal bests of 10.99 in the 100 and a 22.02 in the 200.

Ran 100-meter times of 10.99, 11.10 (wind-aided), 11.16, and 11.22 as a junior in Spring 2022. Also ran 200-meter times of 22.04 and 22.78. Added a 20-6.25 long jump.
Ran Spring 2021 sophomore 200-meter times of 22.68 and 22.88, plus a 53.55 400. Also competed in the 400 meters and long jump.
Fall 2021: Three-phase contributor as a junior. Produced 32-633-5 receiving (19.8 ypc), plus 15 tackles and four INTs (one TD). Also scored three two-point conversions, averaged 21.3 yards on three KO returns, and averaged 13.0 yards on two PR returns.
Spring 2021: Played an abbreviated five-game sophomore season. Registered 15-280-2 receiving (18.7 ypc) and got snaps both ways.
