Trey Leckner

Leckner is among our favorite players in this class, regardless of position. While we've always loved him as a linebacker prospect, he's such a weapon in the offensive game, that we can see him playing running back, flex or Y in college. Leckner has excellent pass-catching skills, consistently breaks tackles and runs through defenders and shows some nice breakaway speed. He's a reliable target, taking the shorter check down throws but then also being a down-field threat in the offense. He gets a ton of yards after contact and he's not easy for defenders to bring down. His speed is better than his size might indicate and he can run away from defenders and get in to the end zone. It will be interesting to see where he ends up positionally in college, but his ability to be a reliable weapon on offense could make that side of the ball the move for him.
