Trevor Carter

Has played multiple positions in high school from safety to running back/fullback and linebacker. As he has gotten older, he has transitioned to more of a traditional, in the box linebacker. Has a track background and shows closing and pursuit speed. Plays fast and plays with good pad level. Does not mind being in the middle of the action and will find his way through offensive linemen and lead blockers, but still has to get stronger and add some weight. Early on, we felt he would be a safety-hybrid type player, possibly a WILL. As he has matured, it is not out of the question he could play other linebacker spots. Highly productive in high school with a nice athletic profile, he projects as being a similarly productive in college and should have a chance to play on the early side of his career.
