Long-armed, athletic-framed interior defender with big hands and the type of body that will need to add weight but has significant capacity to do it. Basketball player who found football for the first time as a junior. Quick get-off and shows burst to the backfield. Shows the instincts to engage and control blockers. Competition level is an issue but he shows physical dominance against blockers. Runs well in pursuit. Lateral movement skills appear to be there but he's primarily he's a straight ahead defender. Doesn't know what he's doing and will need continued development in terms of consistency of effort and block diagnosis. Body type and limited experience combined with athletic background have us bullish on his upside. Eventual impact power five starter that will develop into a mid-round NFL Draft pick in time.
