Timothy Carpenter

Big and physically ready to compete at the college level. Has tested well and shown he has the foot-speed to escape pressure and be a running threat. At the high school level though, he has shown he can stand in the pocket and make throws and then uses his feet when he needs to. Has a calm demeanor, always seems in control of the situation and has come up big in some clutch situations. Has shown he can operate from the gun as well as under center. Seems to make quick reads and does not hang onto to the ball too long. Has good, but not elite velocity. Still needs to polish overall mechanics, but has good upside as well as intangibles.
