ON SHANNON: Considered by Florida State's coaching staff to be the toughest player on the team who has begun to grow as a basketball player and whose best basketball is in his immediate future...was showing his extreme promise in the first seven games of the 2011-12 season when he was injured and forced to miss the remainder of the season because of a dislocated left shoulder suffered against UConn in the third round of the Battle4Atlants on Nov. 26...underwent surgery on January 4, 2012 and was granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA and the ACC in June of 2012...he has three years of eligibility remaining at the start of the 2012-13 with an incredible amount of potential waiting to be tapped during the remainder of his Seminole career...has switched his jersey number from 15
