Also plays basketball (three-time all-state entering senior year) and competes in track and field. Plays eight-man football at Lyndon (Kan.).
As a junior, finished in the top three of the Kansas 2A track and field championships in four different events: 100 meters (second, 10.96), long jump (first, 22-11.5), triple jump (first, 45-2.75), and javelin (third, 178-4). Personal bests include a 24-0.5 long jump and a 45-7.5 triple jump, per MileSplit.
Placed second as a sophomore in the long jump (21-4) in the Kansas 2A state finals. Also qualified for state in the triple jump.
As a freshman, finished fifth in the Kansas 2A state triple jump finals (42-1.25) and sixth in the long jump finals (21-0.75).
