Shawn Simeon

A workhorse in a throwback veer attack that assembled a breakout junior campaign: 2,040 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns. Quick to find a lane and commit to it. Not the biggest ball carrier as he’s on the leaner side, but high-stepping run style allows him to power his way through his fair share of tackles and stay upright. Agile enough to get out of trouble and can make defenders miss in the hole with his lateral cuts. Hasn’t run many routes at the prep level or really been asked to pass protect all that much, but has created separation on the camp circuit during 1-on-1s, which is promising. Should be viewed as a potential multi-year contributor at the Power Four level. Might lack a true turbo, but has proven to be rather elusive on perimeter runs, although everyone will be faster on Saturdays. Could take a major step forward with further physical development.
