Lean build right now. Has room to add good weight and must add bulk when he gets to college. Has played a lot of football at the varsity level and has been productive each year. Very good at timing blitzes, shooting gaps and making negative plays in the backfield. Good feel for the game and locates the football quickly. Above-average quicks and moves fluidly side to side. Can avoid and side-step blocks. Has enough movement and instincts to excel in zone coverage, but has not been asked to play as much man on backs and tight ends. Must get stronger to be able to take on blocks head on. Safe projection is that he will be a productive college player, but will likely need a year in the weight room. Could become a late NFL draft selection with improvement.
