Burley interior defensive line prospect that stuffed the stat sheet: 115 TFLs and 36 sacks his final two seasons at Clearwater Academy International. Wins with both power and effort. Naturally low center of gravity allows him to get up and underneath blockers while heavy hands allow him to disengage from most obstacles, including double teams. Testing numbers aren’t going to blow many away, but can move plenty of iron in the weight room (squats 600 pounds, deadlifts 700 pounds) and will make his fair share of stops in backside pursuit. Projects as a 0, 1 or 3-technique at the next level that can create negative plays by holding up traffic in the middle. Might need a developmental year or two before he’s ready to go on Saturdays, but has college-ready size at an estimated 6-foot-1.5, 320 pounds.
