Savion Collins

Added some weight summer before senior season. Has big hands. Should be able to properly fill out favorable frame once lifting in a college weight room. First burst onto the scene as a sophomore when he clocked a 4.85 in the 40-yard dash at 285 pounds. Might not have played consistently at that speed in pads, but the right coaching staff could be able to tap into that athletic ability. At his best when he can just bull rush. Has a quick first step which allows him to gain leverage and get underneath opposing linemen. Doesn’t let many ball carries slip out of his grip. Can get downhill without much of a problem, but struggles when asked to move east or west. Will likely need a redshirt season to rework the body. A permanent position change isn’t entirely out of the question as he also got snaps at different spots on the offensive line before wrapping up his prep career playing in one of the Sunshine State’s highest classifications.
