Thrives in jump ball situations when he can out-rebound smaller defenders. Coordinated athlete with reliable hands. Competitive after the catch, always looking to get up field. Doesn’t shy away from contact and will try to run through a defender in order to move the chains. Understands the importance of blocking and working for his teammates. Owns a longer stride, but speed not considered a strength of his game. Gets open consistently, but can continue to improve route running in hopes of creating more separation. Produced as a junior playing in an offense that loved to get him involved in the short to intermediate passing game with bubble screens and quick slants. Measurables suggest that he can play on the outside at the next level, but could carve out a role as a bigger slot receiver given physicality and finishing skills. Has a chance to develop into a multi-year contributor at the Power 5 level.
