Tall, high-cut build. Has a big frame and should add significant weight shortly upon getting in a college level strength and nutrition program. Senior season was cut short by an ACL tear in October. Is a solid athlete from a quickness and explosion standpont with average to slightly below average long-speed for an in-line tight end. Lines up in-line, detached and as a wide receiver for his high school team. Uses his substantial height to create mismatches in the passing game. Big red zone threat with the ability to win in contested situations with his catch radius and tracking skills. Looks to be a good blocker and shows effort and strength in working to finish blocks. Isn’t overly dynamic athletically. Will likely find his role as a big in-line tight end who will likely see most of his impact as a blocker and off of play-action and in short to intermediate passing situations. Projects as a likely Power 5 starter/contributor with the ability to develop into an NFL Draft pick.
