Reminds Us Of

Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint Georgia Bulldogs

A big-framed pass catcher that can create some separation. No verified measurements available, but looks to be at least 6-foot-2 and over 205 pounds. Uses that extra weight to pick up chunks of yardage after the catch on Friday nights as he will stiff arm would-be tacklers or try and run right through them. Pretty technically sound as a route runner and appears to be a natural ball catcher, which is always encouraging. Shouldn’t exactly be viewed as a burner, but has shown that he can find extra gear and has gone as low as 11.13 in the 100-meter dash. Spent much of junior season lined up on the outside, but was utilized here and there as a wildcat quarterback and ended up finishing the year with 1,428 yards of offense (985 receiving, 311 rushing, 132 passing) and 17 total touchdowns (eight receiving, seven rushing, two passing) to his credit. Also got some snaps on defense. Older for his grade and will turn 20 his freshman year of college, which means there might not be a ton of growth potential. However, has some of the required tools to make an impact on Saturdays at the school of his choice. Will likely have a chance to avoid a redshirt if he embraces the idea of trying to earn his stripes on special teams. Should thrive in a modern pro-style attack that places an emphasis on timing.

H.S. Athletic Background

Also runs track. As an 11th grader, was a district qualifier in the 100-meter dash posting times of 11.14, 11.17 and 11.32 in the race.

2022: Named a Pensacola News Journal Super Senior. As a senior, caught 46 passes for 651 yards and 9 TD. Also carried the ball 38 times for 279 yards and 5 more scores. On defense, was credited with 10 tackles. Made an impact on special teams, as well, averaging 34 yards a punt and 27.4 yards a kick return. Also blocked a punt. Helped Milton post a 3-7 record in Florida’s 4S classification.

2021: Two-way player as a junior at Pensacola (Fla.) Milton. Got snaps primarily at WR, but also worked in as a wildcat QB and DB. Caught 63 passes for 985 yards and eight touchdownsas he proved to be a top target for Elite 11 finalist Emory Williams. Also ran for 311 yards and seven score while averaging 5.7 yards per carry.
