Quavaris Crouch

Thick-framed athlete who developed physically early in his high school career. Has continued to add mass over the past few years, adding to the odds he outgrows running back. Had a prolific junior season where he rushed for 3,142 yards and 31 touchdowns while also recording 14 sacks on defense. On offense he is a powerful, one-cut downhill back who can run through arm tackles. In limited snaps on defense, has shown closing speed and ability to disrupt behind the line of scrimmage as an edge rusher and blitzer. Has shown a tendency to get out of shape at times. Will need to pick a position and stick to it at the next level. While he has tested as an above average athlete, will need to show the dynamic athleticism you see from top edge rushers. Projects as an eventual Power 5 starter once he gains experience on defense.
