35 games and averaging a career high 22.6 minutes played per game...one of only six players on the team who averaged more than 20 minutes played per game as he helped lead Florida State to the first ACC Championship in school history and to the Seminoles' school record fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament...he continued to shoot the basketball well from all over the floor as he shot .476 from the lead by as many as 16 before holding off the Tigers and winning by eight...(vs. Duke): Averaged 7.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and shot .833 (10 of 12) from the free throw line in the Seminoles' three games against NCAA Tournament participant Duke...he averaged 21.7 minutes played in the three games as Florida State defeated the Blue Devils twice for the first time in school history...the Seminoles won in Cameron Indoor Stadium for only the second time in school history and defeated the Blue Devils in the postseason for the first time in school history...the Seminoles topped Duke in the semifinals to Duke, 74-66, in Tallahassee (Feb. 23) on one of the most anticipated home games in the history of the program...was perfect in the first half (four of four) from the free throw line as Florida State worked to stay in the game despite a flurry of 3-point shots (seven of 16) that allowed the Blue Devils to take a 39-32 halftime lead...Florida State got themselves back into the game in the second half and were within three points with less than five minutes left to be played...totaled nine points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes of playing time as Florida State defeated No. 6 ranked Duke, 62-59, in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament at Philips Arena in Atlanta (March 10)...the win was the Seminoles' first ever victory in the semifinal game of the ACC Tournament and sent the Seminoles to the championship game of the tournament for the first time in school history...the Seminoles defeated No. 4 ranked North Carolina one day later to win their first ACC Championship in school history...five points and a team leading six rebounds in the first half helped the Seminoles to a 33-31 halftime lead...three free throws in the final 2:47 of the half - one at the 2:47 mark to put Florida State up 30-26 and two more at the 1:36 mark gave the Seminoles a five point advantage at 31-26 as the half wore down...of his six first half rebounds, three were on the offensive end including one that turned into two points on his two free throws at the 1:36 mark after he was fouled by Josh Hairston...four points in the second half including a jumper in the paint at the 15:33 mark to give Florida State a commanding 41-33 advantage...a dunk from a Michael Snaer assist at the 7:31 mark extended the Seminoles lead back to four at 51-47...both buckets and all four points proved pivotal as Duke fought back to take a short-lived lead inside of the 4:00 mark before the Seminoles' outscored the Blue Devils 5-4 in the final in the final 3:27 of the game to take the win and move onto the championship game for the first time in school history...(vs. Georgia Tech): Totaled 11 points, two rebounds and two steals in the Seminoles' only game of the season against Georgia Tech...was Florida State's third leading scorer, one of three players in double figure scoring and made four of five field goal attempts (.800 percent) in 18 minutes of playing time...the Seminoles rallied from a one-point half time deficit (25-24) to gain the 68-54 win in Tallahassee (Feb. 1)...the win raised Florida State's record to 6-1 in ACC Play as was their sixth of a school record seven consecutive ACC wins...eight second half points as Florida State took over the game behind White to begin the second half and won the game going away...a dunk gave the Seminoles a 43-32 lead at the 13:07 mark while a jumper increased the Seminoles' lead back to 10 at 45-35 at the 11:57 mark...a 3-pointer for good measure with 1:04 left in the win put Florida State up 65-51...(vs. Maryland): Scored 13 points and pulled down three rebounds in Florida State's only game against Maryland during the 2011-12 season...the Seminoles led at halftime, 36-33, trailed only briefly in the second half and won going away, 84-70, in Tallahassee (Jan. 17)...the important aspect of the game was its placement in the schedule as it came directly after Florida State's 90-57 win over then No. 3 ranked North Carolina and directly before the Seminoles' 76-73 win over then No. 4 ranked Duke...two first half points and 11 in the second half to help Florida State pull away for the win...his first half basket came at the 10:04 mark and gave Florida State a 23-19 lead...continued Florida State's march towards the win with two free throws early in the second half at the 16:34 mark that gave Florida State a 45-42 lead and sent them on their way to the win...seven points in the final 5:03 of the games including five points in a 24 second span closed out the Terps late in the game...two free throws at the 5:03 mark pushed the Seminoles' lead to 76-60 while a lay-up at the 3:06 mark increased their lead to 80-62...added the bonus free throw after he was fouled by Alex Len to push the Seminoles lead to 81-62 and closed out his scoring with another lay-up at the 2:42 mark to increase Florida State's lead to 83-62...the lead on White's final basket gave Florida State a 21-point lead - its largest of the game...(vs. Miami): Averaged 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots in two games against NIT participant Miami...averaged 24.3 minutes played per game and ranked second on the team in blocked shots as Florida State won two of three games against Miami including its win in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament...the win in the quarterfinals led to a win over No. 6 ranked Duke in the semifinals and a title clinching victory over No. 4 North Carolina in the championship game of the tournament...totaled six points, five rebounds and 0ne blocked shot in 25 minutes of play in the Seminoles' 64-59 win over the Hurricanes in Tallahassee (Feb. 11)...he was a perfect two of two from the free throw line and pulled down a team high tying three offensive rebounds in the win...two first half points on a lay-up at the 4:42 mark of the first half gave Florida State a 24-22 lead...his basket proved important for momentum as it helped the Seminoles to a 28-26 halftime lead...four points including two of two free throws with two seconds left in the game sealed the win for the Seminoles...his two free throws gave Florida State a two possession lead after Miami had worked its way back to within three after trailing by as many as 10 earlier in the second half...scored four points and added four rebounds to go along with one blocked shot and one assist as the Seminoles fell, 78-62, in Coral Gables (Feb. 26)...all four of his points came in the first half as the Seminoles' battled the Hurricanes on the road to a 24-20 deficit at the half...double figure scoring of 11 points to go along with a strong defensive effort of three rebounds, one blocked shot and one steal in the Seminoles' quarterfinal victory over Miami, 82-71, at Philipa Arena in Atlanta...the win over Miami was the Seminoles' first step in defeating both Duke in the semifinals and North Carolina in the title game to help the Seminoles win their first ever ACC Championship...was four of six from the free throw line (.667 percent) as Florida State made 25 of 32 free throws (.781 percent) in winning the game and ultimately the ACC Championship...six first half points helped the Seminoles bolt to a 36-27 advantage at the intermission...six first half points in a 3:14 span during the first half helped extend the Seminoles lead each time on a free throw (to make the score 13-10 in favor the Seminoles, on a jumper to put the Seminoles up 15-12 and on a 3-point shot to increase Florida State's lead to 24-18...five points including two free throws with games against NCAA Tournament participant North Carolina...was five of six from the free throw line (.833 percent) as Florida State defeated North Carolina twice during the season to mark the first time in school history the Seminoles defeated the tar Heels twice in the same season...both of the Seminoles wins over the Tar Heels were historic - Florida State defeated No. 3 North Carolina, 90-57, for the largest margin of victory in school history over a ranked team (+33 points) and beat the Tar Heels in the championship game of the 2012 ACC Tournament for the first ACC Championship in seconds left to play...(vs. NC State): Scored 10 points, pulled down two rebounds, earned one blocked shot and one steal in the Seminoles' only game of the season against NCAA Tournament participant NC State...totaled 10 points on four of seven shooting from the field (.571 percent) as Florida State won, 76-62, in Raleigh (Feb. 18)...the Seminoles' win was their 10th ACC win of the season and marked the school record fourth consecutive season Florida State had won at least 10 ACC games...all 10 points came in the second half as Florida State scored the first basket of the game on a tip-in Tallahassee (Feb. 4)...was nearly perfect from the field (five of six) and made his only 3-point shot of the game as the Seminoles won their school record seventh consecutive ACC game...five first half points helped the Seminoles take a 23-22 halftime lead while eight second half points helped Florida State hold the lead, lose the lead and earn it back late to win the game...a first half 3-pointer at the 11:28 mark broke a tie and put Florida State up 11-8 in the game that saw five ties and four lead changes...a lay-up just 30 seconds later at the 10:58 mark put Florida State up left in the games and a steal and a lay-up put Florida State up 42-29 with 7:59 left in the game...added his 13th point of the game on a free throw to give the Seminoles a 50-45 lead with 2:41 left in State won its first NCAA Tournament games since 1998 with a 57-50 win over No. 20 ranked and fifth seeded Texas A&M at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. (March 18)...all seven points came in the first half and helped the Seminoles play with the Aggies in White's first career NCAA Tournament game...he was a perfect five of five from the free throw line in the first half as he led Florida State in scoring in the first half...his seven points were incredibly important as his points helped the Seminoles lead by as many as seven and rally from as many as five points down...scored Florida State's first five points of the game on and old fashion 3-point play at the 18:23 mark and on two more free throws at the 15:54 mark in the defensive minded affair...White had scored as many points as Texas A&M in the first 10 minutes of the game as Florida State led 12-5 with 10:24 left in the first half...two more free throws, his sixth and seventh points of the game gave the Seminoles a 14-12 lead with 7:35 left before halftime...his points were all important because the Aggies took the lead and led 26-23 at the half...a second half blocked shot at the a the 16:01 mark kept the Aggies within three points and began a 29-19 game ending run that led to the Seminoles' win...White's blocked shot led directly to a dunk by Bernard James which began a game clinching 8-0 run...the Seminoles trailed 28-31 before Whites' blocked shot and led 36-31 before Texas A&M would score again...the Seminoles did not trail during the remainder of the game and led by as many as 11 points in advancing to meet second seeded Notre Dame...(vs. Notre Dame): Totaled 10 points and four rebounds in leading Florida State to the monumental 71-57 win over No. 5 ranked and second seeded Notre Dame to advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament (March 20)...his 10 points tied him for third on the team in scoring in the historic win in school history...all 10 of his points came in the second half as Florida State stymied the highly ranked Fighting Irish in a game played less than two hours from their campus...his 10 second half points allowed Florida State to outscore Notre Dame, 37-34, in the second half and helped the Seminoles maintain as much as a 23 point lead and a double digit lead during the entire second half...(vs. VCU): Totaled two points in eight minutes of playing time against VCU in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament...the Rams defeated the Seminoles, 72-71, in overtime in advancing to the Final Four...(in three games during the Diamond Head Classic): Averaged 8.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals in helping lead Florida State to a third place finish in the prestigious Diamond Head Classic...shot the ball well from the field (.538, seven of 13), from the bonsuphere (.625, five of eight) and from the free throw line (.833, five of six) in finishing as the Seminoles' third leading scorer in the three game tournament...(vs. Hawaii): Scored his career high of 19 points in Florida State's opening round win over Hawaii in the Diamond Head Classic...on fire as he made a career-high tying six field goals (six of nine, .667), a career high four 3-point field goals (four of five, .800) and was nearly perfect from the 3-point line (three of four, .750)...his scoring output and six rebounds on the defensive end helped Florida State win its tournament opener, 70-62, at Hawaii's Stan Sheriff Center...totaled 14 first half points - the difference in the Seminoles' leading by eight and trailing by eight at halftime...scored 14 of the Seminoles' 33 first half points and was one of two Seminoles in double figure scoring in the first half in his first big scoring game on a national stage...his first basket of the game - a 3-pointer at the 13:03 mark tied the game at 11-11 after the Seminoles trailed by as many as five in the early going...he then scored what proved to be the game winning basket 35 seconds later on his second 3-point shot of the game at the 11:26 mark to give Florida State a 14-11 lead - a lead they would not relinquish...a dunk at the 8:39 mark put Florida State up 19-13 and a third 3-pointer at the 7:17 mark put the Seminoles up 22-13...two free throws at the 4:06 mark and another free throw at the 1:04 mark gave Florida State a 31-24 lead and officially marked the beginning of the Okaro White era in Tallahassee...added five second half points to score his career high of 19 points in the win as Hawaii shot the ball well and kept themselves in the game as the clocked pushed toward the buzzer...(vs. Butler): scored three points in 16 minutes of play in the Seminoles' second round game in the Diamond Head Classic against NCAA Tournament participant and national finalist Butler...the Bulldogs won a hotly contested contest, 67-64, in the Stan Sheriff Center (Dec. 23)...a 3-pointer for his only made basket of the game pulled Florida State to within four of the Bulldogs at 59-63 with 39 seconds left in the game...it was the closest the Seminoles had been since trailing 9-6 midway through the first half...(vs. Baylor): scored two points and pulled down one rebound in seven minutes of play as Florida State defeated No. 15 Butler to claim the third place finish in the Diamond Head Classic...the Seminoles defeated the Bears, 68-61, at the University of Hawaii (Dec. 25)...scored his two points on two free throws with 13 seconds remaining in the game to give the Seminoles an insurmountable five point lead...the win was significant because it was Florida State's first over a nationally ranked team in three times during the 2010-11 season...it was also the first of four wins over ranked teams during his freshman season...
