Nick Henrich

Taller than the average linebacker with a body that still has room for development and weight. Very instinctive football player with a nose for the ball. Times blitzes and shoots gaps very well. Attacks blockers and ball-carriers with aggressiveness, but also excellent pad level and physicality. Gives exceptional effort and does not give up on plays. Has experience playing middle backer but has also moved out to the edge. He could meet in the middle of those and play SAM in college unless his body grows in a way that makes defensive end more of a possibility. His film does not show him in coverage much. If he is to play true linebacker, that is a part of his game where he will need more experience. Given his physicality and the intensity with which he plays, this is a kid that projects as a multi-year starter. Projects currently as a mid-round (fourth round) NFL draft choice.
