Long-strider who can really get rolling on a straight line. A tad narrow through the hips but lean and athletically built. Should be able to carry significantly more weight if asked. Owns the frame to play with a hand on the ground as a four-man end or standing in an odd-front scheme. Could provide scheme/position versatility. Smart player on and off the field. Anticipates well and is cognizant of hand placement and pass-rush development. Shows active hands that help him disengage. Competent swim and rip moves. High ceiling as a pass-rusher and in backside pursuit. Often quicker when standing than when in three-point stance. Stiff through the core. Does not redirect suddenly. Needs to play with better leverage. Must add bulk to get stronger to defend the run. High school production not as dominant as expected vs. private school competition in Texas.
