Projection

Power-5 Starter

A larger vertical threat that owns one of the better track and field profiles in the class of 2023. Captured gold at Florida’s 1A track meet as a junior in both the 400-meter dash and triple jump. Also took third in the high jump. All of his 6-foot-2, 175-pound listing and should continue to fill out over the years once under the watchful eye of a college strength coach. Uses his long stride to stretch the field and create big-play opportunity after big-play opportunity. Bunny-like hops allows him to play above defenders and gives him a higher success rate in jump ball situations. Faster than he is quick and not one that produces a ton of YAC, but has good vision and has shown that he will fight to move the chains. Must continue to progress as a route runner and learn how to block college-sized defenders out on the perimeter, but looks like someone that should be able to produce as an outside receiver at the Power Five level in a modern pro-style attack that wants to take deep shots and challenge safeties. Likely to provide special teams value given measurables and has made plays at defensive back in the past on the camp circuit. Comes from an athletic family (dad coaches after playing quarterback in college) and is someone that could blossom into an NFL Draft pick one day with his traits.
