Squatty, stout interior lineman that is heavy but doesn’t carry a lot of bad weight. Gives above average effort in pursuit to the sideline and downfield. Was more of a two-gap lineman early on but emerged as a penetrator later in his high school career. Showcased a high-level first step as a senior on the all-star circuit, regularly blowing up plays on the interior. Has a penchant for timing up his burst off the ball with the snap, leading to plays behind the line of scrimmage. Can overpower high school competition and has been highly productive. Has some good foundational athleticism and movement skills. Strong hands when he wants to use them. Can play too high given his physical stature and rely on size and strength against overmatched competition. Likely power five starter with upside to be an impact player and early to mid-round NFL Draft potential with development.
