Right at the average size for the position coming out of high school. Has spent time in the weight room and has a good muscle base, but still needs to add some bulk and good weight. Very good athlete on film and in testing results. Excels in coverage. Can run with backs out of the backfield and shows smarts and athleticism to play in zone. Good ball skills for the position. Changes directions well. Does a good job on blitzes with his quickness and acceleration. Gives good effort in pursuit and takes good angles to the ball. More comfortable in space and roaming free than he is in a phone booth right now. Will have to get stronger and improve at shedding blocks. Can play inside or outside because of his athletic ability, but is a kid who can play over a slot or tight end. Should develop into an every down linebacker, but may need a year in the weight room first.
