Outstanding height and frame length with elite reach and wingspan. High-level frame capacity. Physical development will dictate ideal long-term role, but owns the potential to live on the edge full-time as a big hybrid or 4-3 end, or possibly grow into a strong-side/4i type, subject to scheme. Ample snaps in odd-front end role and plays engaged vs. the run. Plays hard and makes plays in the trenches vs. heavier foes. Good functional strength at the POA that should only improve as mass increases. Length and awareness allow for consistent passing-lane disruption. Raw as a pass rusher but ceiling is very high. Senior season motor looks better. Slippery and twitchy in tight quarters. Suffered a season-ending lower-limb injury to miss final three games of junior season. Still expanding move set and pass-rush nuance. Snap anticipation and get-off consistency can still improve. Naturally high center of gravity sometimes affects leverage and occasionally compromises dip-and-bend fluidity at times. Added weight/strength will help eliminate washouts by larger linemen and/or traffic. That added mass will make for a very tough run defender because physical tools and effort are definitely there. Looks like one of the highest-ceiling defensive prospects in the 2022 class. Should become impact high-major defender with long-term early-round NFL Draft potential.
