Tall, muscular athlete on adequate frame for the secondary. Physically developed two-way prospect with defensive back instincts. Varsity experience at cornerback and safety. Comfortable in man or zone coverage with the IQ to disguise. Effective in press man with good feet and punch. Quicker than fast but long stride aids recovery ability. Fluid in backpedal and transition in and out of breaks. Drives on the ball well and can win with physicality at the point. Polished technique relative to age with some ability to bait the opposing quarterback. Wide receiver experience and above-average length translates to plus ball skills. Willing run supporter enough to warrant nickel or deep safety projection down the line. Lacks elite speed and takes risks on 50-50 balls on occasion. Basketball background. Should work way into secondary rotation fairly early at the Power Five level before a chance at the highest level.
