Functional athleticism from hoops participation reflects on the gridiron. Good body control and spatial awareness to adjust to throws, including contested balls in traffic. Lacks longer levers but maximizes catch window when required and plays with very good dexterity.

Straight-line explosion evident in release and top-end speed in vertical passing game. Matchup problem for defenders not expecting to calibrate to his speed relative to his size. Physically overwhelming for most defensive backs and too athletic for many linebackers.

Effort blocker who engages with conviction and looks for extra work. Will need to add mass and strength to stand up to point-of-attack blocking matchups at the Power Five level, but does not lack the field demeanor or physical potential.

More linear than lateral in quick-twitch athleticism. Showed a bit more burst out of route breaks as a junior. Plays tight-hipped at times and can improve fluidity. Physical upside relatively limited.

Nevertheless, translates very well to the modern game as a move tight end who provides frustrating matchup/personnel variations for opposing defenses to face. Projects to the high-major level with the potential to become an impact player and develop into an NFL Draft prospect.
