Projection

Second Round

Big-framed, athletic build with great height and plus length. Virtually college-ready size for an off-ball linebacker with frame that could project to a full-time edge role as well.

Strong athletic profile that includes highly productive basketball context (19.0 ppg as a junior). Owns varied on-field experience with extensive snaps on both sides of the ball.

Athleticism lacks verified data in testing or track categories. Advanced ball skills fostered by pass-catching duties and basketball dexterity. Caught 16 touchdown passes and recorded six interceptions over final three high school seasons.

Motor matches athleticism. Makes plays via athletic traits and effort. Chase-down ability from back side and broad pursuit range. Long levers keep him in plays vs. the run. Good tackler who arrives with conviction.

Hyper-aware. Competent in space and capable of dropping into zone. Should be able to match up in man at times. Excellent snap anticipation as a rusher with linear closing speed to match.

Performed very well in multiple capacities during All-American Bowl week. Possesses a strong NFL pedigree with two older brothers in the pros.

Great functional athleticism, though no verified context in testing or track categories. Occasionally shows a redirection hitch that delays lateral twitch.

Could become a personnel chameleon given frame, extensive two-way snaps, and athleticism fostered by multi-sport background. Should be able to stay on the field in varying packages, whether from the edge or as a traditional off-ball 'backer. Projects as a potential multi-year high-major impact player with a developmental ceiling that could lead to the early rounds of the NFL Draft.
