Projection

Power-5 Starter

Reminds Us Of

Tyrese Robinson Oklahoma Sooners

A big, burly interior offensive line prospect whose strengths seem fit for a power-based rushing attack. Has already logged plenty of miles on the odometer having started as a freshman at St. Lucie West Centennial before occupying the starting left guard spot at IMG Academy as both a sophomore and junior. At his best when he can shoot out of his stance and get into pull-blocking duties. Effective at hitting targets on the move and is a rather aggressive drive blocker. Hasn’t really been asked to pass protect all that much the past two seasons, but understands how to set up for combat and can win with a somewhat accurate punch. Top-heavy, but carries 335 pounds better than most people that are 6-foot-3. However, weight management will be something to monitor down the line. Likely to thrive in a pin-and-pull blocking scheme, but could also find success in more of a zone-based system given how he moves. Might be able to add some value as a possible center if he masters how to snap the ball. Should be viewed as a potential multi-year starter on the inside for a Power Five program. Will need some time to reshape the body once enrolled at the college of his choice, but has already shown that he can open up running lanes on a consistent basis while facing top high school competition every other week.

H.S. Athletic Background

2021: MaxPreps Junior All-American second-team selection. Starter along the OL for a Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Acadmey program that went 9-1 playing a national schedule. Helped pave the way for Penn State RB signee Kaytron Allen and keep FSU QB signee AJ Duffy clean.

2020: Transferred into IMG Academy for sophomore season from St. Lucie (Fla.) West Centennial where he started as a freshman. Worked primarily at LG for an Ascenders team that went 8-0.
