A modern-day wagon of sorts that has already blazed plenty of trails. Accurately listed at 5-foot-9, 205 pounds and should only add more mass once lifting in a college weight room. One of the more season running backs in the 2023 cycle having racked up close to 7,500 rushing yards during his four-year prep career. That stretch included 32 games in which he eclipsed the 100-yard mark as a runner. Powerful legs allow him to shed plenty of arm tackles while advanced vision helps him find a crease in the defense. Usually quick to pick a lane and isn’t one that takes all that long to get his legs underneath him. Might not have the top-end speed that everyone craves, but has shown time and time again that he can pull away from defenders in the open field and returned three kickoffs for touchdowns on Friday nights. Ability to not go down at the first real sign of contact is without a doubt promising, but best attribute might honestly be how he weaves his way through traffic and shakes would-be tacklers. Long-term durability could be an issue given what the odometer measures, but has the looks of someone that can be a multi-year contributor and possible impact player at the Power Five level. Will likely need to get coached up on how to chip college-sized pass rushers, but has proven to be more than serviceable in the screen frame and could work his way onto the field Year 1.
