Scouting Report

Evaluated 11/17/2023

Andrew Ivins
Andrew Ivins Director of Scouting

Aggressive cover corner that has tested off the charts (4.4 in the 40-yard dash to go along with a 37-inch vertical jump). Fluid in the hips and is an explosive mover that can change directions better than most. Originally was a member of the 2025 recruiting class, but announced on Christmas of 2023 that he was moving to the class of 2024 where he’s age appropriate. Is a bit on the smaller side, but packs a punch for someone that’s believed to be hovering right around 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, and will fight through blocks to make stops out on the perimeter. Hasn’t produced a ton of takeaways over the years, but has experience working in both press-man and off-man coverage, and has shown that he can hang with wide receivers of all different sizes. Should be viewed as a potential multi-year starter at the Power Five level. Could fit a variety of different schemes, but his skill set might be best suited for a nickel/inside role.

H.S. Athletic Background

Has also competed in track and field events at the prep level.
Posted 55-meter dash times of 6.53 and 6.65 in January of 2024. Also owns a 11.27 effort in the 100-meter dash and a 19-2 effort in the long jump.
----
2023: The Baltimore Sun All-Metro second-team selection. Starting CB for a St. Frances Academy squad that played one of the nation's hardest schedules. Had an INT and a PBU against Mater Dei, helping hold the Monarchs to just to just 60 yards passing. Also had a PBU in a nationally-televised game against Chaminade-Madonna Prep. In season finale against IMG Academy, credited with a PBU and multiple tackles.
