Kenneth Merrieweather

Comes from a background of playing receiver and tight end. Transitioned to playing more defense as a junior and picked it up quickly. Has a stocky build, but has pretty good length. Likely will not add tons of weight in college, but still has room to fill in. First step and change of direction are good. Can still work on pure football speed as far as pursuit and closing. Plays with good motor and has agility allows him to beat blockers in a short area and has a good spin move as well as inside moves. Active, disruptive, finds his way into passing lanes. Likely a strongside end but not impossible he grows into having value as an inside guy also. Should be a Power Five starter who brings motor and activity to a defense.
