Projection

4-7 Round Day 3

Has frame to play on the interior. Can play close to 300 pounds. Competed in discuss and shot put as freshman but spring sophomore football season kept him from doing it in 2021. Played basketball as well. Disruptive player at point of attack. Productive on interior of defensive line with 60+ tackles, seven sacks as junior. Shows burst and ability to stay low at snap. Is athletic and possesses movement fluidity throughout frame. Covers ground quickly with first two steps. Very good body control with ability to twist torso and become smaller to get through cracks. Is physical and tough. Can disengage and re-direct along line of scrimmage. Very good change of direction. Plays heavy-handed and balanced. Is able to anchor at point of attack but needs to improve consistency is doing so. Comfortable playing in traffic and willing to work through double teams. Effort and speed to track down plays on back side. Applies swim move and is quick with hands. Needs to be more consistent with overall technique and develop move sets. Sometimes pops up too quickly when engage, which hurts leverage. Continuing to develop strength and flexibility throughout frame needed to compete in college. Multi-year starter at Top 20 level program. Has mid round NFL draft pick potential.
