Julian Barnett

Has a prototypical defensive back build. Good height, length, and will enter college with the muscle base to compete immediately. Physical in coverage and likes to play press-man. Strong enough to re-route wide receivers at the line, but has enough recovery ability to run with receivers as well. He has good speed for a prospect his size. A prolific high school wide receiver who has great ball skills. He can go up and get the ball and challenge bigger receivers. Does not have any glaring weaknesses. Hips and recovery abilities are good, but not elite. Physical enough and big enough to where he could play safety if needed, but projects as a cornerback first. Has a chance to be an early round choice, at this point, in the day two range.
