Kern came to Arizona as a quarterback but converted to tight end prior to the 2014 season. Was used primarily as a blocker and on special teams as a sophomore, but is expected to have a bigger role as Arizona looks to expand the tight ends' role in the offense. Had 5 catches for 31 yards in the 2015 Spring Game.
