John Humphrey

Humphrey has a long, athletic frame that is still filling out. He has long arms and the length to be disruptive in press coverage, but the long speed to turn and run with the faster receivers. He’s still raw technique-wise, but has made big strides in the last year. Is a more confident player, shows good ball skills and can make a play on the football without drawing a flag. Shows solid short area quickness and the ability to break on the ball. Can be physical in run support and this is an area we think he’ll get even better at when he fills out and gains strength in college. Classic late bloomer who is just scratching the surface of how good we think he can be in a few years. Far from peaking and has all the athletic tools and length to be an impact, upper-tier Power 5 starter and a mid-to-high round NFL draft pick.
