Lean, wiry, streamlined linebacker with edge experience who projects to off-line role. Not overwhelming frame space but plenty to get where he needs to be. Flashes terrific play speed with impressive pursuit ability. Closes fast and motor runs hot. Moves with twitch in general and bounces around the field. Dangerous in backside pursuit. Moved to OLB from receiver. Limited reps on defense after starting only five games as a junior. Good production relative to limited starts. Flashes natural bend and arc-running ability as a pass rusher. Must continue to add bulk and strengthen. Predominantly has played forward and will need to adjust to dropping in coverage and playing less as a downhill attacker. High-major linebacker prospect with big-play functional athleticism who could become an impact starter in a power conference.
