Athletic pass rusher with the physical specs of a traditional off-ball linebacker but good frame length and pass-rushing instincts to come off the edge in the long term. Plays with a hand (or two) on the ground but projects best as a two-point rusher. Flexible enough to get under bigger tackles and run the arc. Production jumped from junior to senior year. Not afraid to use his hands and shows some disengaging ability against larger blockers. Sometimes gets swallowed up by point-of-attack size, but plays hard and rallies when necessary. Still developing full rush arsenal and secondary plan, but initial burst off the line and closing speed create a dangerous combination for opposing offenses. Impressive verified combine athleticism accompanies aforementioned length to provide plenty of long-term upside. Also quite young for the 2024 cycle with a June DOB. Projects as a P5-caliber prospect with potential roster versatility as a standing edge defender who should be athletic enough to play off the ball in certain situations.
