Power-5 Starter

Comparison

Nay'Quan Wright Florida Gators

A tempo-based runner with receiving upside that has had plenty of succes moving the chains against stiff Miami-Dade competition on Friday nights. Under 5-foo-10, but uses that lower center of gravity to his advantage as he shifts his weight from side to side while looking for a crease in a defense. Impressive start-stop burst allows him to get out of trouble more times than not and make would-be tacklers miss in the box. So does an A1 spin move that might be the best out of anyone in his class. Has worked primarily out of a single-back spread attack the past few years and made a difference in the screen game, which is always encouraging in an era of football where so many want to air it out. Doesn’t have much experience, however, in pass protection and likely will have issues trying to chip college-sized edge defenders given smaller frame. Durability could also be a concern after missing six games as a junior due to injury. Still, should be viewed as someone that can make an impact at the Power 5 level given his ability to produce big gains. Could thrive in a change-of-pace type of role.
