Hayden John

John is a player who really impressed with senior film and during the spring, was showing that he was trending upwards. He had a big year on both sides of the ball, leading Anacortes in receiving but he'll play defense in college and should be an impact safety. He is physical, is rangy, has good instincts and makes quick reads and good breaks on the ball and closes extremely well. He can play up in the box if needed but he can run and cover playing the high safety spot. With natural ball skills thanks to his receiver background, we wouldn't be surprised to see John playing early and often in college. He's committed to play at Idaho.
