Projection

Power 4 Starter

Has verified size with ability to add weight throughout frame based on college position. Has two-way snaps as receiver and linebacker/safety and offers position flexibility. Has 10-foot broad jump to accentuate explosive ability. Clocked in 4.6s after sophomore season. Saw live and has skill set to play linebacker or receiver, but likely best suited for defense. Productive on both sides of ball. Plays physical and welcomes contact. Linebacker pluses include willingness to take on blocks, ability to play on edge and cover in flat. Relies heavily on athleticism. Shows burst playing down hill and toward ball carrier. Good body control. Building upper body strength and mass is important. Needs to continue to develop technique, particularly with taking on blocks and stacking and shedding. Increasing flexibility in the hips and lower body will allow for more seamless transitions in changing direction. Multi-year starter at Power 5 level. Has late round NFL draft pick potential.
