Gavin Hoffman

Athletic tight end who has strong testing numbers and a high ceiling. Verified at 6-foot-5 and was right around 210 pounds as a junior with room to grow. Explosive and has run shuttles in the 4.5s. Shows solid ball skills. Catches it over his shoulder well and has moments of being able to go up and over defender for contested passes. Does a bit of double clutching at times. Lines up both attached and unattached and can function at both. Runs by defenders fairly easily down the field. Very willing and tenacious as a blocker and will only get better as he gets stronger. Likely will not every carry tons and tons of weight but can function as a 230-240 pound tight end who can line up all over the formation. If he can quickly add the weight and strength, he has the explosive tools to play a role at a high major level.
