2014 (NOTRE DAME): Started all 12 regular-season games…was responsible for 37 touchdowns (29 passing and eight rushing)…threw for 3,445 passing yards and ranked third on the team with 283 rushing yards…only the fourth quarterback in Notre Dame history to eclipse 3,000 passing yards in a single season…eclipsed 300 yards passing five times in 2014 and six times in his career...ranked eighth in the FBS in point responsibility (224) and 11th in point responsibility per game (17.4), t-13th in passing touchdowns (29), 18th in passing yards (3,445), 21st in passing yards per completion (13.46), 22nd in total offense (286.8) and 22nd in passing yards per game (265.0)...equaled his then career-high with three touchdown passes in a 31-0 rout of Michigan…completed 23 of 34 passes for 226 yards and no interceptions against the Wolverines…went 32 of 39 for 362 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-15 victory over Syracuse…completed 25 consecutive passes between the second and fourth quarters, falling one shy of matching the Football Bowl Subdivision record established by Dominique Davis of East Carolina in 2011…the 25 consecutive completions shattered the ND school record of 14…threw for two touchdowns and 241 yards and ran for another 34 yards in the 17-14 victory over No. 14 Stanford…led the Irish on a nine-play, 65-yard game-winning touchdown drive in the waning minutes against the Cardinal…was outstanding against Florida State in 31-27 loss in Tallahassee…completed 31 of 52 passes for 313 yards with three touchdowns and a pair of interceptions against the Seminoles…in the 49-39 victory over Navy, became the first Irish quarterback in school history to throw for three touchdowns and rush for three touchdowns in the same game…completed 18 of 25 passes for 315 yards and added 33 yards rushing vs. Navy…completed 22 of 41 passes for 446 yards and two touchdowns at No. 11 Arizona State…completed 21 of 40 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns against Northwestern...added 78 yards rushing, including a 61-yard touchdown run versus the Wildcats…completed 16 of 24 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns against Louisville…his efficiency rating of 168.4 was by far the best of any quarterback against Louisville in 2014 (minimum 20 passes)…did not start in the 31-28 Music City Bowl victory of No. 22 LSU, but completed six of 11 passes for 90 yards and went four of five for 50 yards passing on the game’s final drive that led to Kyle Brindza’s game-winning field goal as time expired...graduated from Notre Dame in May with a degree in management entrepreneurship.

2013: Was not enrolled at Notre Dame during the fall semester.

2012: Led Notre Dame to the BCS National Championship Game against Alabama…appeared in 12 games…started 11 games and led the Irish to victories in 10 contests…the 10 straight wins to open his career were the second most in school history…first quarterback in school history to lead the Irish to road victories over top-10 foes in his first two road starts…completed 58.8 percent of his passes (187 of 318) for 2,405 yards and 12 touchdowns with six interceptions and rushed for 298 yards…registered a team-high six rushing touchdowns…passed for at least 200 yards in six games, including each of the last five games…tossed multiple touchdown passes in three games, each over the last five outings…recorded both a rushing and passing touchdown in the same game on four occasions (Purdue, Michigan State, Pittsburgh and Boston College)…threw for 317 yards in the first half against Wake Forest, which is the most yards passing ever for a Notre Dame quarterback in the first half…tossed three touchdowns, all in the opening half against Wake Forest…12 of his first 14 completions against Wake Forest resulted in first downs…completed 21 of 31 passes for 289 yards and scored two touchdowns, one of which was on the ground, in the victory over Purdue…the 289 yards passing were the second most by a Notre Dame quarterback making his first start in Notre Dame Stadium…completed 17 of 22 passes, including 15 of his first 20 for 153 yards in the first half alone against Miami…connected passes to eight different receivers before halftime…rushed for 45 yards on four carries and completed all six of his passes for 75 yards in the first quarter against the Hurricanes…ran for 64 yards and threw for 177 more as the Irish knocked off No. 8 Oklahoma, 30-13…recorded a then career-long 50-yard pass to Chris Brown in the fourth quarter against the Sooners…went 9 of 18 for 94 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help the Irish rally from a 20-6 fourth quarter deficit against Pittsburgh…accounted for 164 of Notre Dame’s 223 total yards in the fourth quarter and overtime (73.5 percent) against the Panthers…rushed for 74 yards against Pittsburgh, including a game-winning rushing touchdown – a one-yard plunge on the final play of overtime…came out of the locker room in the opening quarter against USC completing seven of his first eight passes for 100 yards…completed 21 of 26 pass attempts for 270 yards with one touchdown and one interception vs. Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game…scored a touchdown on a two-yard rush…completed 13 of 20 passes for 177 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the second half vs. Alabama.
