Projection

Power 4 Starter

Reminds Us Of

Daniel Faalele Baltimore Ravens

Enormous size with great height, significant mass, and a large reach. Will need to monitor weight and conditioning. Casts a huge shadow on the edge. Not one to mirror edge speed with footwork and agility, but competent enough in movements to complement size and present a sizable obstacle on the outside path to the QB. Has shown gradual improvement over high school career in his run-blocking demeanor and finishing ability. Capable of swallowing up even the bigger defensive linemen he faces with sheer size. Displays corresponding phone booth strength at the point of attack. Quite difficult to disengage from. Naturally high center of gravity, but shows above average bending ability relative to build. Also competes in the shot put (38-7 PR as a junior). Often plays heavy-footed and will need to enhance quickness and mobility. Needs to keep feet busier in general. Overwhelming size/strength combo but can get punchier. Extension consistency should improve as he trusts his length more. High-floor player whose ceiling is to be determined based on how he responds physically to the next level. Likely a right tackle, but could possibly develop into a left-side player if body is re-worked and athletic ability raises. Projects to the Power Five level as a potential multi-year starter with tools to play beyond college.
