Daniel Lyons

A developmental interior defensive line prospect. Has the ideal frame as he’s pushing 6-foot-4 with some verified length in the arms. Carries 270 pounds better than most and should be able to eventually tip the scales at 300 pounds or more. At his best when he can just forklift blockers and drive them backwards. Quicker first step allows him to shoot through gaps and get after the quarterback. Always a threat to bat down a pass or two at the line of scrimmage with his longer reach. Productive on Friday nights, but needs to find a mean streak and get more aggressive on a consistent basis. Must also start making more stops outside of the hashes instead of just bailing on the play when things go the other way. Should see body undergo a physical transformation once lifting in a college weight room. Will likely have a chance to contribute after a year or two on campus with the right mindset. Somewhat scheme versatile and could play a number of different alignments depending on what’s needed at the school of his choice.
