Reminds Us Of

Shaq Lawson Buffalo Bills

Thickly-built edge player that in some ways looks more like a linebacker than he does a defensive end. Carries mass throughout the torso and down into the glutes. Equipped with long arms for someone just a shade under 6-foot-4. One of the most productive pass rushers to come out of South Florida in recent cycles. Launches out of his stance looking to attack. Basketball background allows him to shift weight and keep balance while carving the corner. Wins hand battles, but can also simply overpower opposing tackles. Not one to give up on a play and will use his motor to chew up ground. Likes contact and will let the other sideline know that. Comfortable when asked to drop back into coverage and actually got snaps at safety during 7-on-7 tournaments. Racked up 15 sacks as a junior. Managed to somehow take his game to another level as a senior while working under the close eye of NFL legend Jason Taylor. Has the tools and frame to start and make an impact in the SEC. Athletic profile, movement patterns and mindset suggest that the NFL will eventually come calling.
